Halcyon’s webbing slot angles have been designed to provide optimal comfort for the diver. During a dive, webbing slip is mitigated by the inherent grip of the slot on the webbing, enhancing diver performance and comfort. Halcyon webbing is manufactured exclusively to Halcyon specifications; our webbing is stiff enough to provide support but soft enough to allow a complete range of motion. The crotch strap features 2” soft webbing carefully selected to minimize wear points and prevent uncomfortable pressure points.

Stainless Steel Backplate

• The stainless weighs approx. 5 lbs (2.3 kg) and the aluminum weighs 1.7 lbs (770 g)
• All edges are beveled to protect the harness
• The 3 holes at the top of the plate offer variable height adjustment for air cell and cylinder mounting. In addition, a corresponding lower oval slot allows for lower band bolts that may be misaligned
• Slots at bottom for use with 1” or 2” crotch strap
• 3/8” accessory mounting holes along the sides and bottom
• There are 4 upper and lower slots to accommodate nylon cylinder bands so a single cylinder can be strapped directly to the plate. Having 4 slots provides stability and prevents cylinder “swinging”

A single Composite Cam Buckle with Strap. Friction pad on strap to hold tanks and keep them from slipping.

The Composite Cam Buckle & Straps can be used for numerous configurations. One of the primary uses is utilizing the straps for a single tank wing/harness system. Using the composite buckles vs. the stainless steel helps prevent scratching of your scuba tank.

Halcyon Weighted STA with Straps

Divers who are able to remove unnecessary weight from their waist enjoy greater comfort and better in-water position. The Halcyon weighted STA (single-tank adapter) places an additional six pounds between the backplate and single cylinder, removing weight from your waist and encouraging a more comfortable in-water position. The weight is easily removed during travel or when less weight is required.
