The 50 mm band features a no slip pad stitched in to keep the bottle from slipping. The band is attached to the backplate with a sex bolt and the bungee cord slips through the holes on the backplate and then is stretch over the neck of the valve. This is also very light, with only 3 ounces (85 grams) of weight.
