Spyderco Endura4 Black Blade Knife
Our Price: $114.95
Spyderco Endura4 Black Blade Knife

This version of the popular Endura4 has a non-reflective VG-10 blade that is coated with black titanium carbonitride and is flat saber-ground, has a strong tip and large 13mm opening hole. Added to the blade’s spine is slip resistant jimping. Phosphor bronze washers smooth out the open/close action and the clip is upgraded to a four-way tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip. The fiberglass reinforced nylon handles come molded with Bi-Directional Texturing® for preferred traction and improved ergonomics. Inside the handle dual skeletonized stainless steel liners make the knife stronger without adding weight and make an anchor for all external and internal components to attach through adding sturdiness and rigidity.

Spyderco Knife, Atlantic Salt Yellow FRN
Our Price: $108.95
Spyderco Knife Atlantic Salt Yellow FRN

It's been speculated the sheepfoot shaped blade originated with mariners who found the rounded tip especially beneficial when the knife was accidentally dropped (think working on a ship in pitching seas) as it couldn't stab the foot when hitting the deck. It's also been hypothesized that commanding officers on these ships preferred rambunctious hardworking sailors carry knives without pointed tips, especially while in port blowing off steam after months at sea.

Spyderco's Rescue knives are long favored by seafarers and the design has since been embraced by rescue workers, EMT's and ranchers-anyone cutting around flesh in an emergency. Now available in a rustproof version, the Atlantic Salt is a modified Rescue made with state of the art non-rusting H1 steel. H1 is a precipitation-hardened steel containing nitrogen instead of carbon, which cannot rust. The hollow-ground blade is available PlainEdged or SpyderEdged with both configurations offering remarkable cutting performance in and around fresh and saltwater. Textured with a Volcano Grip pattern, the molded fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handle comes in black or visible marine yellow, equipped with a reversible titanium pocket clip for right or left- handed use. We recommend threading a thong or lanyard cord through the lanyard hole for back-up retention around water, where once dropped, a knife is often irretrievable or lost.
Spyderco Knife, Saver Salt Black FRN

Spyderco Knife, Saver Salt Black FRN
Yet another addition to Spyderco’s non-rusting Salt Series knife line, the C118 Saver Salt. The blades found on all Salt Series models are made with an alloy called H-1. H-1 is non-rusting premium-performance steel that’s raising interest in fishing, boating and diving circles. Why? Because it cuts for extended amounts of time before needing sharpening and it can’t rust. H-1's edge retention compares to other high carbon knife steels but its most distinguishable characteristic is that its nitrogen based as opposed to carbon based. Carbon is the instigator in creating rust when it reacts to chloride. It’s also what makes a blade hard and stay sharp. Nitrogen also makes steel hard and edge retentive but it doesn’t react with chloride, so it cannot rust. Saver Salt’s Sheepfoot blade is rounded at the tip for cutting around inflatable watercraft, flesh and in emergencies. No pointed tip means no accidental puncturing. The blade is flat-saber-ground for cutting excellence in and out of water. The oversized 14mm Spyderco Round Hole works for opening/ closing even if hands are gloved, cold or wet. Available in black or marine yellow, the fiberglass reinforced nylon resin the handle comes textured with a grip-sticking waffle pattern. An ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip also houses a lanyard hole for a variety of carry possibilities.  Please note that the clip on this knife is black.
Spyderco Knife, Caspian Salt
Our Price: $119.95
Spyderco Knife, Caspian Salt

Being underwater changes your perspective by letting you to enter another world. Safely doing that requires the right equipment and divers and paddlers agree knives are essential gear. Serviceable water knives are a dime a dozen but finding one that doesn’t rust and stays quick-cutting sharp makes a good water knife a great water knife.

Spyderco’s Caspian Salt fixed blade water knives fall into the later category. They are a solid piece of non-rusting H-1 steel. The industry’s new wunderkind for watery applications, H-1 is nitrogen based instead of carbon based. Carbon rusts, but nitrogen doesn’t because it doesn’t interact with chloride.
